INSTALLATION OF MICROCEMENT FLOORING MARKET HARBOROUGH

  • Step One: Preparing the Surface. Any loose or damaged material is removed, and then the surface is cleaned thoroughly. A primer is applied to aid adhesion.
  • Step Two: Application of Layers. The DirectStone team apply the microcement flooring by hand, in multiple layers, to a thickness of 3-4mm. This creates a tough and durable surface.
  • Step Three: Sealant Application. Durability and stain-resistance is enhanced by the application of a high-quality sealer, once the final microcement coating is completely dry.
  • Step Four: Polishing. Microcement flooring can be polished, using specialised equipment, to create a smooth, reflective surface that closely resembles polished concrete.

“We changed from traditional epoxy flooring to HTC Superfloor™ and, as a result, we no longer have ugly truck marks on our floors. According to BT’s employees, the floors look fresh and are very easy to clean”
