DirectStone is a family-run business with a passion for beautiful flooring. For over a decade now, we’ve been creating high quality, polished concrete flooring in Stamford and the villages surrounding it.

Our team is made up of flooring specialists with extensive experience working in a range of environments, from commercial retail, to corporate business, to residential homes and refurbishments. Every DirectStone polished concrete floor is unique. Our finishes range from matte, through to a high gloss polish, each one achieved with HTC Superfloor™ grinding machines. Using diamond studded grinding pads of different sizes and grades, our specialists apply layer after layer of grinding and polishing to achieve the finish you require. We work quickly, and in a largely dust-free environment thanks to HEPA filtered extraction.

Concrete is a porous material and, for this reason, it’s treated with a sealant as part of the polishing process. The resulting floor is strong, and it resists staining as a result of spillages. Over the years this sealant starts to wear and will need to be renewed.

Our flooring specialists use HTC Superfloor™ grinding machines to grind back the worn sealant, revealing the pristine surface below. Sealant is applied, and the polish is renewed, leaving your floor looking looking stunning.
