Concrete Flooring Maintenance

DirectStone clients are always delighted to learn about the ‘light touch’ maintenance that goes with polished concrete. Regular sweeping followed by mopping is all that is needed to avoid a build-up of grit or dust that could scratch the surface. Combined with the HTC Twister system this minimal cleaning regime keeps your floor looking good as new.

A sealant is applied to all polished concrete flooring in order to harden the surface and make it resistant to staining. This wears over time and it will need to be replaced every 3-5 years, dependent on floor usage.
